This is truly a great day for the gay population. Especially in Germany.
Chancellor Angela Merkel’s government is expected to pass the law today, which will set aside 30 million euros to compensate an estimated 5,000 convicted men who are still alive. “We can never completely erase the travesty of justice, but we want to rehabilitate the victims,” Justice Minister Heiko Maas told AFP. Paragraph 175 was part of Germany’s criminal code until 1994 and made sex between men illegal. More than 140,000 men were convicted under this paragraph, and 50,000 were prosecuted. Fritz Schmehling, 74, was convicted under the law as a teenager in 1957. “I don’t want to die with a criminal record,” he told AFP at his flat in Berlin. I think this is a great step for Germany, and a way to move forward. Even though alot of people will never forget the Nazi-Ere law, which effected certain kinds of people. From religion to their sexuality.

For International Women's Day 2017, we're asking you to#BeBoldForChange
Call on the masses or call on yourself to help forge a better working world - a more inclusive, gender equal world So even tho I am male I do agree that we are all equal, male, female, gay, straight. We are all humans... And no one is better than anyone else. I am proud to be a great support of #InternationalWomensDay and this year #BeBoldForChange! Its good to see women managing businesses, creating their own business, being able to vote!!! Its good to see how much has changed for women... It was only in 1920 that women was aloud to vote, before this the men were superior to women but now we except women everywhere. I have friends who are builders, mechanics, and they do just as good of a job if better then a male. So lets celebrate and hashtag #BeBoldForChange. I was just having a quiet look through facebook while getting ready and I came across this article... A blog owned by "This Modest Mom"... Disney’s LGBT agenda forced me to cancel our Disney World Vacation- Boycott Disney After reading the post it got me so annoyed that some one can use their religion to spread hate. In the post she does state that she is not spreading hate but throughout this post I will post some great quotes from this upstanding woman. It really got me thinking that in the world we life today people still follow these. Even though I am pretty sure that in most religions it is to love everyone. However the modest mom... Lets call her Felica through out this post. So Short story Felica booked a holiday to Disney where I may add the MD of Disney is a gay male... and most of the actors and inter-actors are infact gay. Male and Female! But Felica cancelled the holiday as they promote being gay... Well not promote it but they try and show that love is love. Between man and woman, man and man, woman and woman. However Felica thinks that this multi-million pound company will change their views because she cancelled her vacation. How can someone just think that because they disagree with it... it is ok to spread the hate and try and boycott a company as Felica puts it. I do think everyone has the right to practice what they believe but to not visit somewhere because they believe love is love... A bit ermm.... just sad if you ask me! But Felica has already visited Disney in 2016, and guess what the MD was still a gay male. So this woman can visit a magical theme park which is run by a gay male but then wont go again because they change a part of "Beauty & the Beast" for three days!!! At this point, Disney is proudly looming over your morals and values and eerily cackling like a villain in one of their own classic fairy tales. All I can really say is that I have hope for this woman's little girl and truly hope that she does not turn anything like her mother. Spreading hate when infact all churches try and spread love. And in all fairness Felica... wrecked her daughters vacation not Disney... It is their company and guess what Felica... Bye!!! |
